The Lincoln Teachers' Association (LTA) represents the teachers of the Lincoln School Department in Lincoln, Rhode Island. We are an organization committed to excellence, equity, and responsibility in education, prepared and ready to deliver a first-rate educational experience to the students of Lincoln.
As a professional organization, we represent the working conditions and professional development of our members, in order to maintain the best combination of career opportunity and educational excellence.
We are also a member of the Rhode Island Federation of Teachers and Health Professionals (RIFTHP), the AFL-CIO, and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). We maintain strong ties with our state and national affiliates, to best serve our members and schools in educational and professional school initiatives.
